Mary Neubauer

Mary Susan ‘Mare’ Neubauer, age 64, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Mare was born May 31, 1951, in Chicago IL, to Joseph and Millie Seifer.
Mare is survived by her friend, Jim Armentrout of Hot Springs.
At her request no services will be held.

Armoryl Theissen

Armoryl Y. Theissen, 90, of Rapid City, died at the West Hills Village Health Care Facility, Sunday, June 21, 2015.
She was born March 15, 1925 at Ft Dodge, IA, the daughter of Alton and Bridget (Mooney) Kenney. She married Hubert H. Theissen on May 20, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN. The couple moved to Rapid City in 1955 and have been residents since that time.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert H. Theissen, Rapid City, a daughter, Catherine Ann Theissen, Rapid City, four sons; Gregory J. Theissen, Rapid City, George A. Theissen, San Diego, CA, Mark J. (Melanie) Theissen, Rapid City and David G. (Denise) Theissen, Ft Collins, CO.
A visitation were held with a Christian Wake Service June 23 at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
A Christian Funeral Mass was offered June 24, 2015 at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Fr. Michel Mulloy presiding.
Inurnment was at the Black Hills National Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the West River Catholic Foundation and the West Hills Village Foundation.

Robert J. Froehlich

Robert J. Froehlich, 84, Rapid City, died peacefully at his home, Friday, June 19, 2015.
Bob was born October 19, 1930 to Jacob and Emma (Diede) Froehlich in McClusky, ND.
Bob was inducted into the Unites States Marine Corps on December 12, 1951 and sserved in Korea as a Sgt, Honrably Discharged on December 9, 1953.
He married Arlys Meyer on November 25, 1954 in Elgin, ND.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a future date at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Evelyn Jane Meyer

Evelyn J. Meyer, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 peacefully at the Fountain Springs Health Care Center of natural caused. She was 85 years old.
Evelyn was born in Hoven, South Dakota on December 13, 1929 to John and Irene [Valder] Artz. She was one of six children.
She was a wonderful, loving, and dedicated mother and wife. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, camping, playing cards, bowling, reading, movies, and going out to eat, especially at Red Lobster. She was a life-long dedicated Catholic and had a very strong faith. But most of all she enjoyed doing anything with her family.
She is survived by her 10 children: Jerry Meyer, Tom (Ann) Meyer, Richard (Carolyn) Meyer, Jane Meyer, Mary (Lynn) Geitz, Linda (Ty) Reber, Kathy Thoreson, Joe (Deidre) Meyer, Jim (Deb) Meyer, and John Meyer; three sisters: Rosalie Hageman, Florence McCaughtry, and Carol Larson; 15 grandchildren: June Geitz, Jamie Smith, Travis (Mikkal) Geitz, Michael (Aleah) Uecker, Tyler Geitz, Jason Meyer, Sarah Meyer, Kelby Thoreson, Alex (Sarah) Reber, Christian Meyer, Jordan Thoreson, Eric Thoreson, Brendon Thoreson; and six great-grandchildren: Taiya, Kylee, Ashton, Mayson, Shayla, and Karla. Also many loving nieces, nephews, and many other kids that she was motherly to. She fed many extra mouths throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Irene, husband Clifford Meyer, and two brothers Donald and Leo Artz.
Visitation were held June 19, 2015 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with a Christian Wake Service led by Deacon John Osnes.
Christian Funeral Mass will be 11 am Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Our Lady of the Black Hills Catholic Church, 12365 Sturgis Road in Piedmont with Rev. Steve Biegler as celebrant.
Burial will take place at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rapid City.
